Works

I gave it the market clip in grayscale and at 120 kbps. One pass brings back full colour and removes the blocks. The colour runs hot, and it invents some crowd and stall detail.

Reference shows a market stall under a striped awning where a bearded vendor in an apron is arranging oranges, apples and bananas in wooden crates while a customer in a headscarf reaches for lemons, rendered in monochrome and heavily compressed with macroblocking and ringing. Edited shows the same scene with natural colors restored and clean detail. COLORIZE ENHANCE QUALITY a green and white striped awning, orange oranges, red apples and yellow bananas in pale wooden crates, the vendor in a blue apron, the customer in a dark red headscarf and warm natural skin tones, sharp and artifact-free. Subject identity, framing, and background geometry are identical to the reference; only color and image quality differ between reference and edited.
